Welcome

On 6 June 1944 at dawn, 177 free French under the orders of the lieutenant commander Philippe Kieffer set foot on the sand of the beach at Colleville sur Mer now Colleville - Montgomery. Try to imagine their emotion to get their history in our museum.

Who were they?  Why have they done it?

We have a documentary film, many windows with items which are authentic.
For groups of 10 people and over, contact us to get a guide who can answer your questions.
